Ok... i'm back in Malaysia in one piece. Alhamdulillah. Sooo many things I wanna share with u guys, soooo many things I wanna show you all. Dalam tempoh seminggu aku kat kota Sydney, Australia, aku rasa bersyukur sangat pasal diberi peluang untuk melihat keindahan negara orang. Terima kasih mak, pasal bagi peluang kat Lily to go to Sydney with you. I love you.

Ok... first gambar kat atas tu University of Sydney, where my bro is currently an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering study. The building look absolutely gorgeous. That's the main building where the exams was held. They maintain the colonial building as the major building and main attraction.

That photo was taken on the first day kitaorang sampai ke Sydney, after having a BBQ at Maroubra Beach we straight go to Sydney Uni tengok tempat belajar adik aku tuh. Memang rezeki kitaorg lah, sampai je kat airport adik aku ajak gi Maroubra Beach atas PR kat sana. Diaorang memang tengah buat BBQ sempena birthday Suhaili. And knowing we are coming from Malaysia, so diarang jemput lah sekali. Rupa-rupanya adik aku famous juga kat sana. Dia Presiden Malaysia Hall patut lah he was having a blast in Sydney. He is quite famous lah, as I can say (eceh... tak ngaku lak adik aku fofular)

Yang ni gambar jambatan or pedestrian bridge that connect Harbourside and Sydney Aquarium. It's quite a long walk tho. Kalau jalan laju-laju pun mau ambik masa 10-15 minit. Yang panjang kat atas tu laluan monorel. The only monorail in Sydney. Not like Malaysia, we got LRT Star, LRT Putra and Monorail. But back in Sydney, this is the only monorail that go through 7 stops in Sydney. The ticket fee is 4 dollar for trip for adult or you can take 8 dollar ticket fees (adult) for the whole day. So you can jump up and off the train all day long go around Sydney town.

Ok, obviously this is me masa tengah jalan nak seberang jambatan. The bag I carried was full with souviners (including the bag itself hehehe...)

And this is me looking through the binocular at Sydney Tower. KL Tower jauh lebih tinggi dari Sydney Tower. Lagi KL Tower terletak kat atas bukit, which make it higher. But from Sydney Tower you can the beautiful view of Sydney Tower. Sydney City memang cantik, especially with a great weather during spring. Pasal the city was situated in such a way where half of it was surrounded by ocean. And most of the building was situated very (and I mean really really near) to the ocean. In fact ada sesetengah rumah yang ada 'garage' for bot. Yup u heard me right! Memang ada, tapi yang rumah bebetul kat tepi laut lah.

This is one of the view you can look from the Sydney Tower. The white building is actually Sydney Marinetime Museum. I didnt gotta time to went there. And that bridge u see, is actually a pedestrian bridge I was talking about previously. And it connecting the Marinetime Museum and Sydney Aquarium. (fuh... boleh jadik tourist guide la aku kat Sydney hehehehe)

Gambar ni pulak taken on Sunday (25th September 2005). This is taken during the Floriade Festival at Canberra. We went to Canberra for this festival to see tulips and other lovely flowers. Perjalanan dari Sydney to Canberra took us around 3 hours, which is around 300km from Sydney. But the trip was really fun. Kitaorang pergi 2 kereta + 2 Tarago. So around 20+ of us all together.

And the scenery was superb! Memang cantik giler. Diaorang tanam all those lovely tulips for this festival, which was held in 1 month time every Spring, and only in Canberra. Love it tho. It is very beautiful. Segala macam warna and jenis tulip ada kat situ. In fact masa aku memula masuk je kat situ and tengok all those gorgeous macam tak caya lak I can actually see tulips with my naked eyes!!!. Selama ni dok la tgk tulip kat TV la kat internet la kat gambar la... there I can see, touch, take picture of all those tulips... My gosh!!! it was beautiful.

Selain dari tulip ada gak lavender (not only purple color ok... all other colors as well). And it smells so damn good.

Selain dari bunga-bungaan, ada gak gnomes and other shows. All those gnomes was actually being decorated by school children from kindergarten to primary students. Ada segala macam jenis gnome being potrayed. Ada yg represent rockers la, cartoon characters and others.

This photo was taken during our trip to Blue Mountain on 27th September. It was quite far from Sydney, the journey took us around 1.5 hours to reach the top. Kira2 macam dari KL ke Genting. But the was nothing like Genting yang banyak selekoh and agak curam. Tapi the road to Blue Mountain was smooth. Tak rasa macam mendaki bukit langsung.

Cuma masa pergi sana haritu cuaca berkabus tebal pasal baru lepas hujan. So it was damn cold!! It was 8 degree Celcius. Cuma tak sampai turun salji je time tu. Mengikut kata roomate adik aku, Afiq, there are times where it can reach 0 degree, then the snow will come down.

Actually pergi ke Blue Mountain tu kitaorg nak tengok The Three Sisters legend. It is actually 3 mountains of stones in which, according to Afiq, in good wheather, the sunlight from the 3 mountains will look blue. That's why it was called blue mountain. Kira macam dongeng Gunung Santubung la gitu, Three Sisters was actually 3 sisters from the aboriginal people (org asli Australia) yang sangat cantik dan disumpah jadi batu untuk dielakkan dari perkahwinan. Tapi malangnya orang yang buat turn the 3 sisters into mountain died. Thus nobody can return back the 3 sisters to life. So kekal lah diaorg bertiga sebagai gunung.

And there in Blue Mountain, there is a train and also cable car going up and down the very very steep mountain. Macam ala-ala Bukit Bendera gitu (tapi Bukit Bendera tak de cable car la kan), cuma it is much much steeper and scarier. Aku teringin giler nak naik. Tapi pasal keadaan cuaca yang tidak mengizinkan, aku la batalkan. Ish... belum terfikir lagi nak hantar nyawa kat Australia beb!

Second last day, before we return the rented car, we went for a fresh seafood treat at Sydney Fish Market. Memang giler la seafood dia fresh2 dan besar2 giler. It cost us arounf 50 dollar for half grilled lobster and a full plate (for 2) of seafood termasuk oyster (mornay), octopus (black pepper), calamari, prawns, kupang, fish fillet (2 big peces) and a bunch of fries. Memang menyang giler la. Sampai kitaorang terpaksa tapau balik pasal tak buleh nak habis makan 3 orang.

Then later, we take a ferry trip to Sydney Aquarium. It is as huge as Underwater World in Langkawi but I still feel that Langkawi's one is much much better. Yang best tu ada satu part where we have to walk on the glass. We were actually surrounded by ocean with only air and a few centimeters thick of glass from the ocean. And as u walk, sharks are swimming under you. Hehehehe aku ni memang fobia skit kalo kena jalan kat laluan macam tu. Lebih2 lagi kalau kat bawah tu air, memang trauma la aku ni kekekeke (tak boleh masuk fear factor langsung). So aku cepat2 je la jalan. Hehe tak sempat nak menghayati sekeliling.

We didn't actually go to the Sydney Opera House, the trademark of Sydney, but we manage to see in from across ocean view during our Ferry trip. And also see the night view of the Opera House from Bondi Junction, and it was superb!!

Last day (Thursday 29th September) we were in Sydney, kitaorang tour city. Naik bas and monorail. So, we manage to go to Paddy's Market, Sydney Tower and take a few round trip in the monorail around Sydney City.

picture: in front of Paddy's Market. behind is actually tramp's path.

Masa seminggu sekejap aja rasa berlalu. Banyak tempat yang aku tak berkesempatan nak pergi. Macam Wildlife Park, Gold Coast (this is obviously very far from Sydney, need to take another flight to go here, so save it for dunno-when later trip to Sydney), Fox Studio and other.

But thanks a million to my dear brother, Iskandar, coz sanggup sacrifice his one-week spring holiday to be our tourist guide. And thanks to Afiq for the great companion, and also all PRs there Kak Yushida & family, Abang Sam & family, Pn Shahidah & family, Kak Ina & family, Kak Aida & family, Kak Nani from Malaysia Hall and of course all my beloved bro's frens. Dan tak lupa the most important, to my mum for making my dreams come true walau pun I was actually accompanying u there. But thank you very much mak, I love you.

Thanks Izan for uploading the story here.

For other, please pardon my mistakes such as spelling error i.e. menyang = kenyang, arounf = around (i know Anith really had her a good laugh at my stupid spelling errors hehehe). Also for all those dumb-and-dumber grammar errors.

I coundnt correct it, coz I wont be able to publish the corrected one later (sorry la dik, akak ni tumpang line opis tak leh upload file besar2 ni).

Anyway, have a 'nice journey' with me!!
