YAHOO!! 'Soul Patrol' win the American Idol battle!!

At last... after almost one year Simon, Paula and Randy went around USA to find the next American Idol. This morning, live from Kodak Theater, american had crown TAYLOR HICKS a.k.a. Soul Patrol as the 5th American Idol.

And I am absolutely excited, expected and love it. I love Taylor Hicks from day 1 of the audition compared to Katherine McPhee, which I only knew during the top 24 show. No doubt, Katherine is lovely and has a powerful voice. But to me, personally, I think Taylor has much better voice and... he is charming.

He took comments from judges well and know his credibility. He knows how and when to make the song as his song. As for Katherine, I love her in the beginning but I got sick to her towards the last few episodes when she could not take Randy and Paula's comment. Well, get real girl!!

Yes! I saw the result show live on channel 70 (Star World) Astro this morning - yess... it caused me to be late in office. But, I cannot resist it. I must SEE Taylor Hicks being crowned the next American Idol.

At first, I thought it could be either Taylor-Chris or Taylor-Elliot will be the final two after the 'not-so-good' performance of Katherine during the TOP 4 and TOP 3 episodes. Well, she probably got more fans than I thought hehehe... and manage to out numbered Chris and Elliot's vote. Good for her.

And during the TOP 2 show yesterday, she had shown a great performance and she looked so stunning. And she really gave Taylor a good fight. But, Taylor is always being Taylor. He had shown his all-the-time great performance. Except during the second performance, where Katherine manage to steal the lead with her stunning 'Under the Rainbow' performance.

Yeah... some people do call it American Idiot. Hehehe... memang betul pun masa di awal peringkat pemilihan, all those wanna-be-a-star american from all over the country came to the audition to try their shot.

But... I love American Idol. I love it since season 3, where Fantasia won over Diana (and I saw it live on 8tv also). As for last season, when Carrie won over Bo Bice, I only saw the delayed telecast. But it didnt matter to me, cause I love both Carrie and Bo Bice. And I thought they are different and they both deserve to win.

Well, now American Idol is over. Huh.... (at last)... Amazing Race pun dah habis. (I love it when the hippies (BJ and Tyler) won over the frat boys (Eric and Jeremy)... hahahaha) Erk... tunggu ajelah cerita-cerita menarik di Astro this coming June untuk mengisi malam-malam aku yang selalu berseorangan di rumah tuh. (Thank God there's Astro)
